बहरोड़ (राजस्थान): भारतीय सेना सिर्फ सरहदों की रक्षा ही नहीं करती, बल्कि अपने साथियों के परिवारों के प्रति भी गहरी जिम्मेदारी निभाती है. इसी का अनूठा उदाहरण तब देखने को मिला जब 26 आर्मी जवानों ने शहीद सूबेदार कंवरपाल सिंह की बेटी की शादी में आकर 16 साल पुराना अपना वादा पूरा किया.

जवानों ने न केवल बेटी की शादी की सभी रस्मों में भाग लिया, बल्कि डोली को कंधों पर उठाकर उसे स्टेज तक ले गए और भावुक विदाई में शामिल हुए. यह पल न केवल शहीद के परिवार के लिए, बल्कि पूरे गांव के लिए गर्व और सम्मान से भरा था.

शहीद का परिवार, पूरे देश का परिवार

शहीद कंवरपाल सिंह के भाई कौशल सिंह ने कहा, &quot;यह सिर्फ एक वादा नहीं था, यह भारतीय सेना की वह परंपरा है, जहां हर शहीद का परिवार, पूरी फौज का परिवार बन जाता है.&quot;

गांव के सरपंच रविंद्र सिंह चौहान ने कहा, &quot;आज के समय में जब लोग अपने रिश्तों और जिम्मेदारियों से कतराने लगते हैं, सेना के इन जवानों ने दिखाया कि वादे निभाना क्या होता है. यह सिर्फ फर्ज नहीं, बल्कि सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि है.&quot;

सेना के जवानों ने निभाई हर रस्म

गांव कुतिना निवासी कौशल सिंह ने बताया कि उनकी भतीजी बबली कंवर की शादी दिल्ली निवासी अरुण सिंह राजावत के साथ 5 मार्च 2025 को तय हुई थी. इस अवसर पर ग्रेनेडियर रेजिमेंट की 14वीं यूनिट से 1 JCO और 15 जवान, जबकि 39 राष्ट्रीय राइफल (RR) से 1 JCO और 9 जवान शामिल हुए.

देश के लिए दिया सर्वोच्च बलिदान

1 जनवरी 2009 की रात, जब दुनिया नए साल का जश्न मना रही थी, उस समय जम्मू-कश्मीर के राजौरी सेक्टर में तैनात भारतीय सैनिकों को आतंकियों की घुसपैठ की खबर मिली.

घने कोहरे और दुर्गम परिस्थितियों में जब आतंकियों से मुठभेड़ शुरू हुई, सूबेदार राकेश सिंह घायल हो गए. उन्हें बचाने के लिए कंवरपाल सिंह आगे बढ़े और दो आतंकियों को ढेर कर दिया, लेकिन इस दौरान खुद भी वीरगति को प्राप्त हो गए.

शहीद होने से पहले, उनके यूनिट के साथियों ने एक वादा किया था &ndash; &quot;जब आपकी बेटी की शादी होगी, हम जरूर आएंगे.&quot;

16 साल बाद वादे को निभाने पहुंचे वीर सैनिक

5 मार्च 2025 को भारतीय सेना के 26 जवान उसी वादे को निभाने पहुंचे. उन्होंने शादी की हर रस्म में हिस्सा लिया और बेटी को आशीर्वाद देकर सम्मान के साथ विदा किया.

यह सिर्फ एक शादी नहीं थी, बल्कि शहीद की विरासत को सहेजने का एक उदाहरण था. भारतीय सेना ने एक बार फिर साबित किया कि फौजी सिर्फ युद्ध के मैदान में ही नहीं, बल्कि जीवन के हर मोर्चे पर अपने साथियों और उनके परिवारों के साथ खड़े रहते हैं.
