नई दिल्ली: भारत और दक्षिण कोरिया ने रक्षा क्षेत्र में एक महत्वपूर्ण साझेदारी को आगे बढ़ाते हुए 100 अतिरिक्त K9 वज्र-T होवित्जर तोपों की आपूर्ति के लिए एक समझौता किया है. यह सौदा भारतीय सेना की मारक क्षमता को बढ़ाने और स्वदेशी रक्षा उत्पादन को मजबूती देने के उद्देश्य से किया गया है. 3 अप्रैल 2025 को, दक्षिण कोरियाई कंपनी हनवा एयरोस्पेस और भारतीय कंपनी लार्सन एंड टुब्रो (L&amp;T) ने 253 मिलियन डॉलर के अनुबंध पर हस्ताक्षर किए. इस समझौते के तहत, भारतीय सेना को 100 नई K9 वज्र-T होवित्जर तोपों के लिए आवश्यक उपकरण और तकनीक उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी.

यह रक्षा सहयोग भारत और दक्षिण कोरिया के बीच बढ़ते रणनीतिक संबंधों को दर्शाता है. 2017 में हुए एक पूर्व अनुबंध के तहत, पहले ही 100 K9 वज्र-T तोपों की डिलीवरी हो चुकी है. इस नई डील के साथ, स्वदेशी उत्पादन स्तर को 50% से बढ़ाकर 60% करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है. नई दिल्ली स्थित दक्षिण कोरियाई दूतावास में इस समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए, जो दोनों देशों के रक्षा सहयोग को और मजबूत करेगा.

K9 वज्र-T की क्षमताएँ

K9 वज्र-T, दक्षिण कोरिया की K9 थंडर का भारतीय संस्करण है, जिसे भारतीय सेना की आवश्यकताओं के अनुसार अनुकूलित किया गया है. यह 155 मिमी/52-कैलिबर की स्वचालित होवित्जर तोप है, जो विस्तारित रेंज के गोला-बारूद के साथ 50 किलोमीटर तक मार कर सकती है. इसकी उच्च गतिशीलता और फायरिंग क्षमता इसे आधुनिक युद्धक्षेत्र में अत्यधिक प्रभावी बनाती है. भारतीय सेना की फील्ड आर्टिलरी रेशनलाइजेशन प्लान (FARP) के तहत, इस प्रकार की तोपों की खरीद और विकास को प्राथमिकता दी जा रही है.

यह तोप हर 15 सेकंड में तीन राउंड की बर्स्ट फायरिंग करने में सक्षम है और तीन मिनट में छह से आठ राउंड प्रति मिनट की अधिकतम फायरिंग दर प्राप्त कर सकती है. 1,000 हॉर्सपावर के इंजन से लैस यह तोप 67 किमी/घंटा की गति से चल सकती है और 360 किमी तक का संचालन कर सकती है. भारतीय सेना की योजना के अनुसार, कुल K9 वज्र-T होवित्जर की संख्या 300 तक बढ़ाई जा सकती है.

ऊंचाई वाले इलाकों में तैनाती

भारतीय सेना इन तोपों को उच्च ऊंचाई वाले क्षेत्रों में तैनात करने की योजना बना रही है, जिसके लिए विशेष तकनीकी परीक्षण किए जा रहे हैं. इसे हिमालयी क्षेत्रों में संचालन के लिए अनुकूलित किया जा रहा है, ताकि यह माइनस 30 डिग्री सेल्सियस के तापमान में भी प्रभावी बनी रहे.

इसके अलावा, भारतीय सेना अपनी तोपखाने क्षमताओं को और बढ़ाने के लिए 307 एडवांस टोएड आर्टिलरी गन सिस्टम (ATAGS) की खरीद को भी स्वीकृति दे चुकी है. यह स्वदेशी रूप से विकसित तोपें &#39;आत्मनिर्भर भारत&#39; पहल के तहत बनाई गई हैं. K9 वज्र-T होवित्जर का उत्पादन गुजरात के हजीरा में L&amp;T के आर्मर्ड सिस्टम कॉम्प्लेक्स में किया जाएगा.
