वाशिंगटन, डीसी (अमेरिका) : भारत के लोकसभा चुनावों की सराहना करते हुए, अमेरिकी विदेश विभाग के प्रवक्ता मैथ्यू मिलर ने बुधवार (स्थानीय समय) को कहा कि अमेरिकी सरकार &#39;विश्व के इतिहास में लोकतंत्र के सबसे बड़े प्रयोग&#39; का जश्न मनाती है और इसे &#39;असाधारण उपलब्धि&#39; कहती है.

बुधवार (स्थानीय समय) को एक प्रेस ब्रीफिंग को संबोधित करते हुए, मिलर ने कहा कि अमेरिका भारत के चुनाव के परिणाम पर किसी का पक्ष नहीं लेता है और भारत के लोगों को इस मामले पर निर्णय लेना है.

मैथ्यू मिलर ने कहा- भारत का लोकतंत्र असाधारण उपलब्धि

अमेरिका में कई समूह और लोग भारत में लोकतंत्र को तोड़ना चाहते हैं और लोगों ने चुनावों में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को हराने के लिए यहां से पैसे भेजने की बात स्वीकार की है, इस बारे में पूछे जाने पर मिलर ने कहा, &quot;इसलिए, मैं विशिष्ट रिपोर्टों के बारे में बात नहीं कर सकता, मुझे नहीं पता कि वे किस बारे में बात कर रहे हैं. लेकिन मैं आपको बता सकता हूं कि जब भारतीय चुनावों की बात आती है, तो हम संयुक्त राज्य सरकार की ओर से स्पष्ट रूप से कहते हैं कि हम दुनिया के इतिहास में लोकतंत्र के सबसे बड़े अभ्यास का जश्न मनाते हैं. यह एक असाधारण उपलब्धि थी.&quot;

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने गठबंधन में अन्य दलों, मुख्य रूप से नीतीश कुमार के नेतृत्व वाली जेडी(यू) और चंद्रबाबू नायडू के नेतृत्व वाली टीडीपी के समर्थन के साथ तीसरा कार्यकाल हासिल किया है.

543 लोकसभा सीटों के लिए चुनाव 19 अप्रैल से शुरू होकर सात चरणों में हुए और मतों की गिनती 4 जून को हुई.

भारत के चुनाव आयोग के अनुसार, भाजपा ने 240 सीटें जीती हैं. दूसरी ओर, कांग्रेस ने 99 सीटें जीतकर मजबूत कामयाबी पाई है. इंडिया ब्लॉक ने कड़ी टक्कर देते हुए और सभी भविष्यवाणियों को धता बताते हुए 230 का आंकड़ा पार कर लिया.

अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति बाइडेन दे चुके हैं जीत की बधाई

5 जून को, अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडेन ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और राष्ट्रीय जनतांत्रिक गठबंधन (NDA) को 2024 के लोकसभा चुनावों में उनकी जीत पर बधाई दी.

दोनों नेताओं ने 5 जून को फोन पर भी बातचीत की. पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि वह &quot;बधाई के उनके गर्मजोशी भरे शब्दों और भारतीय लोकतंत्र के लिए उनकी प्रशंसा को बहुत महत्व देते हैं.&quot;

बाइडेन के साथ अपनी बातचीत के बारे में विवरण साझा करते हुए, पीएम मोदी ने एक्स पर एक पोस्ट में कहा, &quot;मेरे मित्र राष्ट्रपति @JoeBiden का फोन आने से खुशी हुई. बधाई के उनके गर्मजोशी भरे शब्दों और भारतीय लोकतंत्र के लिए उनकी प्रशंसा को बहुत महत्व देता हूं. बताया कि भारत-अमेरिका व्यापक वैश्विक साझेदारी आने वाले वर्षों में कई नए मील के पत्थर देखने को तैयार है. हमारी साझेदारी मानवता के लाभ के लिए वैश्विक भलाई के लिए एक ताकत बनी रहेगी.&quot;
