ढाका: बांग्लादेश का गारमेंट उद्योग, जो देश की अर्थव्यवस्था की रीढ़ माना जाता है, इन दिनों गंभीर संकट से गुजर रहा है. बीते सात महीनों में 140 से अधिक गारमेंट फैक्ट्रियां बंद हो चुकी हैं, जिससे लगभग एक लाख से अधिक लोग बेरोजगार हो गए हैं. यह संकट देश की राजनीतिक अस्थिरता और वैश्विक आर्थिक मंदी का परिणाम माना जा रहा है.

फैक्ट्रियों की बंदी और बढ़ती बेरोजगारी

गाजीपुर, सावर, नारायणगंज और नर्सिंदी जैसे प्रमुख औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों में स्थिति गंभीर होती जा रही है. इनमें से 50 से अधिक फैक्ट्रियां पूरी तरह से बंद हो चुकी हैं, जबकि करीब 40 अन्य अस्थायी रूप से काम बंद करने की स्थिति में हैं. इसके चलते हजारों श्रमिक सड़कों पर आ गए हैं और प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं.

श्रमिक संगठनों के अनुसार, कई कंपनियों में कर्मचारियों को 2 से 14 महीने तक का वेतन नहीं मिला है. जैसे-जैसे ईद का समय नजदीक आ रहा है, श्रमिकों में असंतोष और बढ़ता जा रहा है. यदि जल्द समाधान नहीं निकाला गया, तो आने वाले दिनों में स्थिति और भयावह हो सकती है.

वैश्विक बाजार में बांग्लादेश का गिरता प्रभाव

बांग्लादेश गारमेंट मैन्युफैक्चरर्स एंड एक्सपोर्टर्स एसोसिएशन (BGMEA) के अनुसार, देश से 20% ऑर्डर अन्य देशों को शिफ्ट हो चुके हैं. इनमें भारत, वियतनाम, श्रीलंका, इंडोनेशिया और पाकिस्तान प्रमुख रूप से लाभान्वित हुए हैं. इससे बांग्लादेश की अर्थव्यवस्था पर नकारात्मक प्रभाव पड़ रहा है.

राजनीतिक अस्थिरता का प्रभाव

विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि गारमेंट सेक्टर की मौजूदा स्थिति के पीछे दो मुख्य कारण हैं&mdash;आर्थिक मंदी और राजनीतिक अस्थिरता. दिलचस्प बात यह है कि बंद हो रही अधिकांश फैक्ट्रियां पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री शेख हसीना की पार्टी अवामी लीग से जुड़े व्यापारियों की हैं. इनमें हसीना के विदेशी निवेश सलाहकार सलमान एफ. रहमान की प्रमुख कंपनी बेक्सिमको भी शामिल है.

बीते सात महीनों में बेक्सिमको की 15 से अधिक फैक्ट्रियां बंद हो चुकी हैं. इसके अलावा, अवामी लीग से जुड़े कई अन्य बड़े गारमेंट मालिक भी अपने कारोबार को समेट रहे हैं.

श्रमिक संघों की प्रतिक्रिया

गारमेंट वर्कर्स ट्रेड यूनियन सेंटर के कानूनी मामलों के सचिव खैरुल ममून मिंटू का कहना है कि सरकार इस समस्या को नजरअंदाज कर रही है. उन्होंने दावा किया कि यह सिर्फ आर्थिक मंदी का नतीजा नहीं है, बल्कि राजनीतिक अस्थिरता भी इसकी बड़ी वजह है.

&quot;ऑर्डर अब भी मिल रहे हैं, लेकिन जो फैक्ट्रियां चल रही हैं, उन पर अतिरिक्त दबाव डाला जा रहा है. सरकार को चाहिए कि वह जल्द से जल्द समाधान निकाले, नहीं तो देश को आर्थिक मंदी का सामना करना पड़ सकता है.&quot;

महिलाओं पर सबसे ज्यादा असर

बांग्लादेश का गारमेंट उद्योग देश की 84% विदेशी मुद्रा अर्जित करता है और लगभग 50 लाख लोगों को प्रत्यक्ष रूप से रोजगार प्रदान करता है. इनमें महिलाओं की भागीदारी सबसे अधिक है. मौजूदा संकट के कारण लाखों महिलाएं बेरोजगार हो गई हैं, जिससे उनके परिवारों पर गंभीर आर्थिक असर पड़ा है.

शेख हसीना की वापसी की अटकलें

बांग्लादेश में नई छात्र-नेतृत्व वाली पार्टी &lsquo;नेशनल सिटिजन पार्टी&rsquo; (NCP) और सेना के बीच विवाद बढ़ता जा रहा है. NCP ने आरोप लगाया है कि सेना, सत्ता से बेदखल की गई शेख हसीना की पार्टी अवामी लीग को फिर से सक्रिय करने की योजना बना रही है.

NCP के नेताओं का दावा है कि सेना अवामी लीग को नए नाम से स्थापित कर सकती है, ताकि हसीना को फिर से राजनीति में लाया जा सके. हालांकि, सेना ने इन आरोपों को निराधार बताया है और किसी भी राजनीतिक हस्तक्षेप से इनकार किया है.
