मुंबई (महाराष्ट्र) : भारत के विस्फोटक बल्लेबाज सूर्यकुमार यादव के बचपन के कोच अशोक असवालकर ने टी20 विश्व कप ट्रॉफी के लिए दक्षिण अफ्रीका से भिड़ने पर मेन इन ब्लू को सामान्य क्रिकेट खेलने की सलाह दी और चैंपियनशिप मैच में संघर्ष कर रहे विराट कोहली को महत्वपूर्ण पारी खेलने का समर्थन किया.

भारत शनिवार को बारबाडोस के केंसिंग्टन ओवल में प्रतिष्ठित टी20 विश्व कप ट्रॉफी के लिए दक्षिण अफ्रीका से भिड़ेगा. विश्व टेस्ट चैंपियनशिप 2023 और विश्व कप 2023 के बाद, भारत ने 2024 के अभियान को बिना हारे रन बनाए रखा और आईसीसी के इवेंट्स में लगातार तीसरी बार फाइनल में जगह सुनिश्चित की है.

कोच ने कहा- सामान्य क्रिकेट खेलने की जरूरत, वह अच्छा खेलेंगे

असवालकर ने एएनआई से कहा, &quot;हमें बस सामान्य क्रिकेट खेलने की जरूरत है, जो हम खेलते आ रहे हैं. हमें बस सरल क्रिकेट खेलना है और दबाव नहीं लेना है. सभी खिलाड़ी जानते हैं कि उन्हें कैसे खेलना है, वे बहुत आसानी से खेल रहे हैं और हम इसका नतीजा अपने सामने देख सकते हैं.&quot;

भारत के कप्तान और सलामी बल्लेबाज रोहित शर्मा ने इस टूर्नामेंट में शानदार प्रदर्शन किया है. मौजूदा टी20 विश्व कप 2024 में रोहित फिलहाल टूर्नामेंट में तीसरे सबसे ज्यादा रन बनाने वाले खिलाड़ी हैं. उन्होंने सात मैचों में 155.97 की स्ट्राइक रेट से 248 रन बनाए. रोहित की अगुवाई वाली टीम ने टूर्नामेंट में ऑस्ट्रेलिया, पाकिस्तान और इंग्लैंड जैसी दिग्गज टीमों सहित हर टीम पर दबदबा बनाया है.

इसके विपरीत, स्टार बल्लेबाज विराट कोहली का फॉर्म इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (आईपीएल) में शानदार 741 रन बनाने के बावजूद मार्की इवेंट में खराब रहा है. कोहली 7 पारियों में केवल 75 रन ही बना पाए हैं और अभी तक प्रतियोगिता में कोई खास योगदान नहीं दे पाए हैं. असवालकर ने कहा कि स्टाइलिश बल्लेबाज ने इरादे दिखाए हैं और उम्मीद जताई कि स्टार खिलाड़ी चैंपियनशिप मैच में प्रोटियाज (दक्षिण अफ्रीका) के खिलाफ अच्छा प्रदर्शन करेगा.

असवालकर ने कहा- भारत का पलड़ा अफ्रीका पर रहेगा भारी

असवालकर ने कहा कि दक्षिण अफ्रीका किसी भी कीमत पर ट्रॉफी जीतने के लिए तैयार है क्योंकि यह उनका पहला फाइनल है जबकि यह मेन इन ब्लू के लिए एक प्लस पॉइंट होगा क्योंकि उन्हें बस इस टूर्नामेंट में जिस तरह से क्रिकेट खेले हैं वैसा ही खेलना है. इस मैच में मेन इन ब्लू का पलड़ा भारी रहेगा क्योंकि उन्होंने अपने पिछले 26 मैचों में 14 जीत दर्ज की हैं, जबकि दक्षिण अफ्रीका के खाते में केवल 11 जीत है.

दक्षिण अफ्रीका के खिलाफ एक बेहतरीन खेल की उम्मीद करते हुए, असवालकर यथार्थवादी हैं और उन्होंने कहा कि खिलाड़ियों को शांत रहना चाहिए और मुकाबले में अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करना चाहिए.
