Traffic Rules: अगर आप कार या बाइक चलाते हैं, तो सावधान हो जाइए! इस नए फाइनेंशियल इयर से ट्रैफिक नियम और भी सख्त हो गए हैं. अगर आपके पास पहले से कुछ पेंडिंग चालान हैं और आपने उनका भुगतान नहीं किया है, तो यह आपको महंगा पड़ सकता है. नए नियमों के तहत आपका ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस भी जब्त किया जा सकता है. आइए जानते हैं, क्या हैं ये नए ट्रैफिक नियम:

3 महीने के लिए DL जब्त

ट्रैफिक नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वालों के लिए समय पर जुर्माना न भरने पर सजा देने के उद्देश्य से सरकार ने एक नया और सख्त उपाय पेश किया है. अगर आपके पास पिछले तीन महीनों से लंबित ई-चालान राशि है और आपने उसका भुगतान नहीं किया, तो कानून प्रवर्तन एजेंसियां आपका ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस निलंबित कर सकती हैं. इसके अलावा, यदि एक वित्तीय वर्ष में रेड सिग्नल कूदने या खतरनाक ड्राइविंग के लिए 3 चालान हैं, तो आपका लाइसेंस कम से कम तीन महीने के लिए जब्त किया जा सकता है.

सिर्फ 40 प्रतिशत चालान की वसूली

यह सख्त नियम इसलिए लाया गया है क्योंकि सरकार ने देखा है कि ई-चालान की वसूली दर केवल 40 प्रतिशत ही है. इस सख्त कानून से न केवल आपका ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस खतरे में पड़ेगा, बल्कि सूत्रों के अनुसार, सरकार एक रणनीति पर काम कर रही है जिसके तहत पिछले वित्तीय वर्ष से यदि आपके पास कम से कम 2 लंबित चालान हैं, तो उच्च बीमा प्रीमियम जोड़ा जाएगा. अब, कुछ वाहन मालिकों ने देर से अलर्ट या गलत चालान के कारण जुर्माना नहीं भरा है. ऐसे मामलों के लिए सरकार एक मानक संचालन प्रक्रिया (SOP) लाने की योजना बना रही है, जिसमें कैमरों के लिए न्यूनतम विनिर्देश तय करना और वाहन मालिकों या ड्राइवरों को हर महीने लंबित चालानों का अलर्ट भेजना शामिल होगा, जब तक कि भुगतान न किया जाए.
