सिलचर (असम): एक महत्वपूर्ण ड्रग भंडाफोड़ में, असम पुलिस के विशेष कार्य बल (एसटीएफ) ने कछार जिला पुलिस के सहयोग से शनिवार देर रात सिलचर में एक ऑपरेशन में 60,000 याबा टैबलेट और 125 ग्राम हेरोइन जब्त की.

यह ऑपरेशन एसटीएफ प्रमुख डॉ. पार्थ सारथी महंत के नेतृत्व में एक संयुक्त टीम द्वारा सिलकोरी रोड पर चलाया गया था. टीम ने कछार जिले के सोनाई निवासी साहिल अहमद लस्कर को पकड़ लिया, जो कथित तौर पर मोटरसाइकिल पर नशीले पदार्थों का परिवहन कर रहा था.

60,000 याबा टैबलेट और 125 ग्राम हेरोइन बरामद

डॉ. पार्थ सारथी महंत ने कहा, &quot;हमने साहिल अहमद लस्कर को कछार जिले के सोनाई से पकड़ा, जब वह नशीले पदार्थों का परिवहन कर रहा था. हमने उसके कब्जे से 60,000 याबा टैबलेट और 125 ग्राम हेरोइन बरामद की.&quot;

एसटीएफ प्रमुख महंत ने कहा कि जब्त की गई दवाओं का बाजार मूल्य लगभग 20 करोड़ रुपये आंका गया है.

जांच के तहत मोटरसाइकिल को भी हिरासत में लिया

जांच के तहत परिवहन में इस्तेमाल की गई मोटरसाइकिल को भी हिरासत में ले लिया गया. अवैध संचालन में शामिल आपूर्ति श्रृंखला और संभावित सहयोगियों को उजागर करने के लिए आगे की जांच चल रही है.

इस बीच, 12 दिसंबर को, असम के श्रीभूमि जिले में पुलिस ने एक कार के गुप्त डिब्बे से 50,000 याबा टैबलेट बरामद की और पांच व्यक्तियों को गिरफ्तार किया.

पुलिस ने रात भर मादक पदार्थ विरोधी अभियान चलाया

श्रीभूमि जिले के पुलिस अधीक्षक (एसपी) पार्थ प्रोतिम दास ने कहा कि विश्वसनीय खुफिया सूचना पर कार्रवाई करते हुए, श्रीभूमि जिला पुलिस ने बुधवार रात बदरपुर पुलिस स्टेशन के तहत अंगलाबाजार इलाके में रात भर मादक पदार्थ विरोधी अभियान चलाया.

एसपी दास ने कहा, &quot;ऑपरेशन के दौरान, एक पुलिस टीम ने एक वाहन को रोका और वाहन के गुप्त कक्ष से 50,000 याबा गोलियां बरामद कीं.&quot;

ऑपरेशन का नेतृत्व श्रीभूमि जिले के पुलिस अधीक्षक ने किया. पकड़े गए पांचों व्यक्तियों की पहचान अब्दुल सादिक, अमीरुद्दीन, अनामुद्दीन, जियाउल हक और कामरूप हक के रूप में की गई.

एसपी दास ने आगे बताया कि गाड़ी मिजोरम के चम्फाई जिले से आई थी. दास ने कहा, &quot;आगे और पीछे दोनों संबंधों की जांच के लिए कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी गई है.&quot;
