अम्मान (जॉर्डन) : महिला पहलवानों ने गुरुवार को चल रही अंडर-17 विश्व कुश्ती चैंपियनशिप में भारतीय तिरंगा लहराना जारी रखा, जिसमें 4 स्वर्ण पदक जीते हैं.

ओलंपिक डॉट कॉम के अनुसार, भारत के लिए मानसी लाठेर (महिला फ्रीस्टाइल 73 किग्रा), पुलकित (महिला फ्रीस्टाइल 65 किग्रा), नेहा सांगवान (महिला फ्रीस्टाइल 57 किग्रा) और अदिति कुमारी (महिला फ्रीस्टाइल 43 किग्रा) ने स्वर्ण पदक जीते.

कुश्ती में 4 गोल्ड के अलावा 2 कांस्य पदक&nbsp;

अब तक भारत ने प्रतियोगिता में छह पदक जीते हैं, जिसमें रौनक दहिया (ग्रीको-रोमन 110 किग्रा) और साईनाथ पारधी (ग्रीको-रोमन 51 किग्रा) के दो कांस्य पदक शामिल हैं.

विश्व चैंपियनशिप जॉर्डन के अम्मान में प्रिंसेस सुमाया बिंट अल-हसन एरिना में खेली जा रही है. यह 19 अगस्त को शुरू हुई और रविवार, 25 अगस्त तक चलेगी. प्रतियोगिता में सभी विषयों, पुरुषों की फ्रीस्टाइल, ग्रीको-रोमन और महिलाओं की फ्रीस्टाइल में मैच हो रहे हैं, जिनमें से प्रत्येक में 10 अलग-अलग वजन कैटेगरीज में मेडल दिए जा रहे हैं.

हर वजन कैटेगरी में चार पदक दिए जा रहे हैं. भारतीय पहलवान 30 में से 29 पदक स्पर्धाओं में हिस्सा ले रहे हैं, जिनमें ग्रीको-रोमन में 10, पुरुषों की फ्रीस्टाइल कुश्ती में 10 और महिलाओं की फ्रीस्टाइल में 9 पदक शामिल हैं.

पिछले साल चैंपियनशिप में 1 गोल्ड 7 रजत और 3 कांस्य पदक थे

पिछले साल की चैंपियनशिप में भारत ने एक स्वर्ण, सात रजत और तीन कांस्य पदक जीते थे, जिससे कुल 11 पदक हो गए थे. पदक जीतने के बाद हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने मानसी को पदक के लिए बधाई दी.
