मुंबई (महाराष्ट्र): शनिवार को मुंबई में बीसीसीआई अवार्ड्स 2025 के दौरान, टीम इंडिया के कप्तान रोहित शर्मा ने उस समय को याद किया जब उन्हें एहसास हुआ कि उनकी टीम ने टी20 विश्व कप 2024 जीत लिया है जो वेस्टइंडीज और संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका में खेला गया था.

ICC T20 विश्व कप का सारांश देते हुए, रोहित शर्मा की अगुवाई वाली टीम ने फाइनल सात रन से जीता. विराट को उनके प्रदर्शन के लिए &#39;प्लेयर ऑफ द मैच&#39; का पुरस्कार मिला. अब, 2013 में चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी के बाद अपना पहला आईसीसी खिताब हासिल करके, भारत ने अपने आईसीसी ट्रॉफी सूखे को समाप्त कर दिया है.

T20 विश्व कप जीत के बाद, सूर्यकुमार को खेल के सबसे छोटे प्रारूप में कप्तान नियुक्त किया गया. उनके नेतृत्व में, मेन इन ब्लू ने तीन मैचों की श्रृंखला में श्रीलंकाई टीम को क्लीन स्वीप किया.
